WHAT IS CORONAVIRUS:

Coronavirus is a type  of common virus that infects humans, leading to an upper respiratory infection (URI.) Seven different types of human coronavirus have been identified. Most people are going to be infected with a minimum of one sort of coronavirus in their lifetime. The viruses are spread via the air by coughing and sneezing, close personal contact, touching an object or surface contaminated with the virus and infrequently, by stool contamination.

 What are the symptoms this coronavirus causes?

Infection can cause pneumonia. Those who have suffered or fallen ill are reported to suffer coughs, fever and breathing difficulties. In severe cases, there can be organ failure. As this is viral pneumonia, antibiotics are not going to work here. The antiviral drugs we have against the flu will not work here.  Recovery lies in the strength of the immune system. Many of those who have died were already in poor health. So good immunity plays a major role in fighting against the coronavirus

Right now there is no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The best because of preventing illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. It is recommended everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including:

  1. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  2.  Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  3. Stay home when you are sick.
  4. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue within the Dustbins
  5. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces employing a daily household cleaning spray or wipes
  6. CDC doesn't recommend that folks who are well wearing a facemask to guard themselves against respiratory diseases, including COVID-19.
  7. Facemasks should be employed by people that show symptoms of COVID-19 to assist prevent the spread of the disease to others. The use of facemasks is additionally crucial for doctors and other people who are taking care of somebody in close settings (at home or during a health care facility).
  8. Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  9.  Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with a minimum of 60% alcohol in it. Always wash hands with soap and water if they are dirty
